Fly Me To The Moon Layout

I wanted to share with all of you a layout I created with my Fly Me To The Moon kit. I used a couple of nighttime photos at Disneyland that happen to be fabulous colors to go with this kit. Disneyland is one of my favorite places and this layout captures one time when we were waiting for the fireworks!

I also have a blinkie in the works featuring this kit. I'd love it if you checked back tomorrow to see it!!!!

Fly Me To The Moon

"Fly me to the moon.
Let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars.
In other words,
Hold my hand..."

Inspired by one of Frank Sinatra's most beloved songs, "Fly Me to the Moon" lends itself to lots of different memories: a nighttime page, an evening out on the town, music related, or an everyday "you are special to me" page. Frank's music and Debussy's famous piano solo, "Light of the Moon," inspire several of the papers and a ribbon. The quote used in the wordart is by Langston Hughes and speaks to me of the moon's and stars' romp around the evening sky, which I have tried to capture in my elements and moon textured paper. A blue/purple color palette with splashes of yellow captures the fun and intimate nighttime mood.

This kit includes:
5 solid papers
1 little star paper
1 moon paper
1 yellow music paper
1 multihued music paper
1 large star paper
1 striped paper
1 piano paper

1 medium blue flower
1 purple flower
1 dark blue leaf
1 big star button
1 multi star button
1 shooting star
1 dark purple hanging star
1 yellow double hanging star
1 purple ribbon
1 piano ribbon
1 planet
1 moon
1 binder clip with stars
1 yellow bracket mat with stars
1 Come, Let us roam the night together Singing wordart (Langston Hughes)
1 yellow sparkly photo wrap
1 blue sparkly circle frame
