Fly Me To The Moon
"Fly me to the moon.
Let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars.
In other words,
Hold my hand..."
Inspired by one of Frank Sinatra's most beloved songs, "Fly Me to the Moon" lends itself to lots of different memories: a nighttime page, an evening out on the town, music related, or an everyday "you are special to me" page. Frank's music and Debussy's famous piano solo, "Light of the Moon," inspire several of the papers and a ribbon. The quote used in the wordart is by Langston Hughes and speaks to me of the moon's and stars' romp around the evening sky, which I have tried to capture in my elements and moon textured paper. A blue/purple color palette with splashes of yellow captures the fun and intimate nighttime mood.
